MORNING REGIME

Step 1: Facewash

A gentle face wash formulated for oily skin removes excess oil, dirt, and impurities without stripping the skin. Look for ingredients like salicylic acid or tea tree oil, which help to control oil production and fight acne-causing bacteria. Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash is a budget friendly option for very oily skin.

Step 2: Moisturizer

Avoid moisturizer, because treatment products and sunscreen should be enough to provide hydration. However, because of using treatment products your skin gets dry, then apply COSRX AC Collection Lightweight Soothing Moisturizer only on dry areas of skin. Avoid your T zone if it is oily and sticky.

Step 3: Morning treatment products

In the morning, you can use The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%  that target inflammation and reduce post acne pigmentation.

Step 4: Sunscreen

It’s crucial to protect your skin from harmful UV rays, even if you have oily skin. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Facial Moisturizer with Broad Spectrum SPF 50 Sunscreen is a lightweight, oil-free sunscreen with at least SPF 50.

AFTERNOON REGIME

In the afternoon, if your skin feels oily, you can use Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets or blotting papers to remove excess oil without disturbing your makeup.

NIGHT REGIME

Step 1: Micellar water

Remove makeup with micellar water.

Step 2: Facewash

Use the same gentle face wash as in the morning to cleanse your skin and remove any makeup or impurities.

Step 3: Moisturise

If your skin feels dry after cleansing, apply a light weight moisturiser to hydrate your skin.

Step 3: Treatment Product

At night, you can use products that target acne and oil control more intensively. Olay Salicylic Acid Serum has Salicylc acid that help to unclog pores and reduce acne. Alternativey, consider using Differin Gel (Adapalene) if you don’t get improvement with salicylic acid or if you get more than 20 comdones or more than 5 red pimples on your face.

WEEKLY REGIME

Step 1: Scrub

We do not recommend using scrub if you have any active acne on face. Once your acne subsides so that you have few bumps here and there, then start using scrub once or twice a week. Use a gentle exfoliating scrub to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores. St. Ives Blackhead Clearing Face Scrub has Green Tea & Bamboo, Salicylic Acid to reduce your zits.

Step 2: Face pack

Apply a clay-based face mask once a week to absorb excess oil and purify your skin.Cetaphil Clay Mask Pro has Betionite clay that absorbs extra oil with mild exfoliation.

MONTHLY REGIME

It’s important to maintain a consistent skincare routine, but there may not be any specific monthly treatments required for your skin type and concerns. However, if you want to pamper your skin, you can consider getting a professional facial or trying out a new skincare treatment under the guidance of a dermatologist.
