Morning Regime
Step 1: Cleanser
Use CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser to gently cleanse your skin twice daily. This cleanser is formulated with hydrating ceramides and hyaluronic acid to help maintain the skin barrier, making it a great option for sensitive skin.
Apply CeraVe Moisturizer if your skin feels dry after face wash to help restore the skin barrier and minimize irritation from skin-lightening products.
Step 2: Skin Lightening Cream
After cleansing, apply Biluma Cream to areas with pigmentation. Biluma contains ingredients like kojic acid, arbutin, and licorice extract that work to lighten dark spots and even out skin tone.
Step 3: Sunscreen
Sunscreen is essential to prevent darkening due to sun exposure. Apply a CeraVe Mineral sunscreen preferably SPF 50 atleast 30 minutes before heading outdoors. Reapply every three hours if you’re exposed to the sun for prolonged periods. Use a teaspoon for your face and neck to ensure adequate protection.
Night Regime
At night, start by removing any makeup with a gentle micellar water, then cleanse with the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser. Apply CeraVe Moisturizer if your skin feels dry after face wash to help restore the skin barrier and minimize irritation from skin-lightening products.
Step 4: Night treatment product
Use CeraVe Skin Renewing Nightly Exfoliating Treatment on areas with pigmentation. This contains a 5% blend of glycolic and lactic acids to gently exfoliate the skin and target dark spots. Apply only on the dark patches, avoiding normal skin to maintain an even tone.
Dietary Support: Take a Multivitamin Daily
Pigmentation issues can sometimes be linked to nutritional deficiencies. To support your skin from within, consider taking a daily multivitamin for three months. Also, incorporate a diet rich in minerals and antioxidants as outlined in our article, Diet for Good Skin and Hair, to help your skin rejuvenate.
